U.K. Crash of the
Month |

started the U.K. crash of the month at the request of
several of my good friends on "the other side of the pond."
Each month I will post a few photos and the what, when,
where on a crash that I have come across while researching
through microfilm. Hopefully some of the accidents I post
will be new to the many researchers in the U.K. or at
least bring some unknown photos to light. |

| On 12 APR 44 P-47D
s/n 42-25530 collided with
an RAF Spitfire 2 miles south of Felton, Northumberland
while practicing a simulated strafing run on a convoy.

collided 1 1/2 miles southeast of Station 124 (Tibenham/ Tivetshall)
on 29 MAY 44.

to the photos) and P-47D s/n 42-7974 on 18 OCT 44
near Wellington Shropshire. |

a hillside in bad weather near Llangallen. |

P-47C s/n 41-6206 from STA 342
