The wonderful typical vegetation of the California coastal mountains. It gets so dense in some places that you can hardly see the person in front of you. Some places had good tunnels under the brush that jackrabbits have cleared.
Disappearing into the brush again. And another comes out of the tunnel.
Did I mention it was steep? Not that I am complaining. The first wreckage is finally spotted through the brush.
Part of the vertical and horizontal. Wing section marked as a known wreck.
Engine mount. Wing spar and a small section of wing.
Note the small piece of aluminum stuck in the tree. Landing gear.
Wing tip. Another section of wing.
Engine. Propeller. Almost an entire wing.
